In 2019, we were commissioned to survey several buildings within the complex. We are particularly proud of our work on these heritage buildings, which was a specialty of our firm at the time. Using point cloud technology and our expertise in historical structural systems, we created a BIM model with a level of detail equivalent to a 1:50 scale, complete with live floor plans, sections, and elevations, providing a reliable and versatile foundation for future developments.

The architectural heritage of the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest is unique. Founded in 1787, the institution moved to its current location between 1871 and 1881. The original building complex, situated between Rottenbiller and Bethlen streets, was designed by Imre Steindl in a Neo-Renaissance style, with windows adorned by Miksa Róth’s stained glass. By the end of the 19th century, it was already considered a world-class educational institution, and its campus, featuring an English garden and a rich collection of statues, remains iconic.
