For the competition, we proposed a concept inspired by Western films. Two rival Western heroes stand on two opposing fire walls, both featured in pop-culture films that were frequently shot in Esplugas, a neighborhood of Barcelona. The park concept was designed to evoke this theme, featuring a camera-shaped telescope that allows visitors to observe the patterns of the facade graphics and green walls up close, while small community spaces at the base of the walls offer a spot to enjoy a refreshing drink.
